Welcome to the Early Language and Literacy for Diverse Children Lab

We are located in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Our mission is twofold:

1) Conduct research on early language development and emergent literacy that supports school readiness in bilingual and culturally diverse children 

2) Develop evidence-based practices for the assessment and treatment of culturally and linguistically diverse children at risk for language and academic outcome disparities
